The Spanish Iker Moreno This Saturday was held with the silver medal in 400 meters fences of the European Athletics Championships, which are played in the Finnish city of Tampere, after finishing the route in 49 “66, its new best personal brand and record of Spain Sub-20.
The Castellón, who began in the combined tests before focusing on the low fences, crossed the goal just behind the Czech Michal Rada (48 “78), new European champion of the category. The podium also completed the Czech Marek Vána, in 50” 46.

This triumph assures Spain of the leadership in the general medal of these Sub-20 championships, with five medals, after the three golds and bronze achieved by Andrea Tankeu, in the women's disc launch, Ander Garaiar, in 100 male meters, and Sofía Santacreu and Aldara Meil, in 10 kilometers marches, respectively.
