The game will take place at Mangata Developments Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm (UK time).

Last time out, a trip to Sunderland ended in a 3-1 defeat, as Andre Harriman-Annous’ goal in the second half proved only a consolation, in a game that had the Black Cats three up by the interval.

Nevertheless, we remain on the brink of knockout stage qualification, with a win needed from our remaining two fixtures. We currently sit in 14th with 26 points.

The opposition

The Baggies have weathered a tough PL2 campaign and only managed a single victory from their first 15 games, which came in a late 2-1 comeback against Reading in October. However, form has drastically improved since the end of February, with four wins from their last five giving them a fighting chance of making the new cross-category play-offs.

The West Midlands side is also enjoying a Premier League Cup run, having booked their place in the semi-finals after seeing off Bournemouth 5-4 in the previous round. The draw for the last four has yet to be announced, but Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers or Burnley await as potential opponents.

West Brom also participated in the Premier League International Cup this season but failed to finish in the top two qualifying spots in Group B after just one win from four games, a 4-2 victory over Juventus.

We last met the Birmingham-based outfit on the road in April 2025, when a seven-goal thriller ended in a 4-3 loss. Goals from Sagoe Jr, Will Sweet and Khayon Edwards weren’t enough to edge the tie at Damson Park.

How to follow

Live updates will be available throughout the match on our academy’s official X account. Post-match, don’t miss interviews with under-21s head coach Max Porter and one of our young Gunners, as well as highlights of all the key action from Mangata Developments Stadium.

Copyright 2026 The Arsenal Football Club Limited.
