WWE has changed dramatically since Triple H replaced Vince McMahon as the main creative figure of the roster in 2022. In a recent episode of a podcast, the legendary commentator Jim Ross applauded The Game for allowing Raw's star, Natalya, to make appearances in fights outside WWE.
Wrestlemania 41 will take place on April 19 and 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Two days before the two -night event begins, Natalya will be part of the GCW Bloodsport XIII of Josh Barnett. The 42 -year -old fighter will also compete in the NWA Cup Cup tournament on May 17.
In his podcast Grilling JRRoss told the presenter Conrad Thompson that WWE content director deserves credit for allowing fighters to appear in other promotions:
“She will do a great job. Whenever the other person can work, Nattie will make it possible. Triple H has a completely different perspective. It is a healthy perspective to try to facilitate more opportunities for talent in several scenarios, and in the week of Wrestlemania, there is nothing bigger than that.” (26:47 – 27:13)
Several WWE talents have made appearances in GCW Bloodsport during the last year, including Charlie Dempsey, The Creed Brothers, Karmen Petrovic and Shayna Baszler.
Natalya's programming under Triple H's leadership in WWE
Since Triple H began to supervise the creativity of the main roster, Natalya has only competed in an individual fight in a live premium event. The fight took place at Night of Champions 2023, where he lost in 70 seconds against the then women's SmackDown champion, Rhea Ripley.
In recent months, the Queen of Hearts has fought mainly in Main Event and in the WWE Speed online series. It also lasted 17 minutes in Royal Rumble Women of 2025 before being eliminated by Liv Morgan.
Natalya's last fight in WWE was broadcast in the episode of February 27 by Main Event. She defeated Alba Fyre in a five -minute fight.
