Portuguese striker Joao Félix is already officially new player of the Saudi Al-Nassr team after being announced on Tuesday in the official media of the club, to which his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo also belongs.
The Saudi Arabia Club has published a video in its X (formerly Twitter) account where Joao Félix appears wearing the Nassr's elastic, accompanied by a statements of the player in which he claims to be here “to distribute joy.”
Joao Félix leaves Chelsea after a second stage where he has barely had prominence, the second half of the campaign to AC Milan, in which he also did not count on the Italian team's plans.
Felix became the most expensive signing in the history of Atlético de Madrid in 2019 after arriving from Benfica for 120 million euros. He was a contract with the Chelsea of the Premier League until 2031, being one of the signings of the new directive of Todd Boehly.
With hardly relevance in the team and being surpassed by players such as Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto or Cristopher Nkunku, Joao Félix now opts to fly to the Middle East to recover his level and game.
Also, Al-Nassr became the most interesting option for Chelsea in order to recover the 50 million euros that it disbursed to property with the player last summer, after having been given in the January 2023 market in the London club as the first stage.
He had also sounded a return to his former team, Benfica, which has not been completed.
