John Cena is very rumored to face Cody Rhodes in Wrestlemania 41. However, his father had a surprising response when asked about a possible fight between the former and current face of the WWE.
This week, after RAW's premiere in Netflix, Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling exclusively interviewed John Cena Mr. The father of The Franchise Player had a very interesting opinion about his son's last fight in Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas.
Breaking his silence, John Cena Mr. said he doesn't see his son facing Cody Rhodes despite rumors. He believes that Cody Rhodes will face The Rock, but in case of a hypothetical combat Cena-Cody, there would be many similarities:
“I don't see that happens. I think that fight is reserved for The Rock, I really believe it. I think we will see The Rock against Cody Rhodes in WrestleMania 41. But if he faced Cody Rhodes, I think both have a slightly similar style. Hard and rude, drunk them, raise them and never give up. Your way. ” (From 07:28 to 08:03)
Dino's father said there could be a submission end between his son and Cody Rhodes:
“That could be a different type of situation. I think that in any way you look at it, it will be a submission.” (From 08:10 to 08:19)

There was a proposal for a John Cena Combat in Wrestlemania that people behind the scene “hated”
There has been a lot of speculation about what the plans behind the scene for dinner in Wrestlemania could be. He announced his retirement in the summer of 2024 and it is safe to assume that WWE has probably gone and came several times about who should face in Las Vegas.
In a recent episode of WrestleVotes RadioJoeyvotes and TC reported that someone highly inside the WWE was interested in a fight between John Cena and Logan Paul in Wrestlemania 41. However, they said that many people who spoke behind behind the scene hated the idea and completely opposed.
There are currently no rumors of a possible dinner vs. Logan Paul. If it happens, it is safe to say that a large part of the fans would consider that it would be a total waste for the final fight of Wrestlemania of the legend.
Dinner will participate in his last Royal Rumble, hoping to get an opportunity for the World Championship #17 in Las Vegas.
