Kevin Owens is scheduled to appear on Saturday Night's Main Event to sign the contract for his fight for the undisputed WWE championship against Cody Rhodes in Royal Rumble. WWE analyst Sam Roberts suggested that the appearance of The Prizefighter could include it by hitting a legend with a Stunner.
The former universal champion has been in a rivalry with The American Nightmare for several months. After losing against Rhodes at the main event of last Saturday, Owens brutally attacked his rival before leaving with the WWE Winged Eagle championship belt. Now that he claims to be the true champion, Owens and Rhodes will leave their titles to be suspended on the ring in their stairs. Meanwhile, they will have a contract firm for their fight this Saturday, moderated by the member of the WWE Hall of Fame, Shawn Michaels.
In his podcast Notsam WrestlingRoberts suggested that Owens could face The Heartbreak Kid, hitting him with a stunner. He added that The Prizefighter could try to eliminate the member of the Hall of Fame with a Piledriver before Rhodes intervenes to stop him:
“I wonder, because it is San Antonio and Kevin Owens, he loves being a villain, if Shawn will be a victim of something physical. There is no way for him to receive a Piledriver. I wonder if he will receive any type of Stunner, and then Kevin Owens will try the Piledriver before Cody stops him. ' Michaels! ' I think that would be a good way to proceed, ”he said. In a recent edition of Live Q & A, John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL), a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, praised Kevin Owens. The wrestling legend said that The Prizefighter was one of the best villains of the modern era.
The 58 -year -old veteran said that the former universal champion was one of the best villains he had seen:
“You know, the ten best villains. Of course it is. It may be the best villain. I don't know. There are some great villains out there, some really good. There is a guy in Tna, Frankie Kazarian. I think it's fantastic. You know, I think MJF has done well. There are many great villains out there. Randy Orton, when he is a villain, for me he is on another level, I mean, another You know, that is a somewhat controversial name, but that guy is one of the best villains I've seen, ”he said.
