Kim Orton shared an update on Randy Orton, who was taken of action by Kevin Owens in November during an episode of WWe Smackdown.
Orton and Owens had developed a great alliance in early 2024. In Wrestlemania XL, they competed in a triple threat to the United States Championship of Logan Paul, but failed to dethrone The Maverick. After Owens's betrayal of Cody Rhodes, he also turned his back on The Viper.
On Instagram, Orton's wife, Kim, shared a family photo with The Viper. The multiple WWE world champion seemed healthy and did not need the support of a collar after receiving a brutal Piledriver from The Prizefighter.
“Happy Christmas Eve,” Kim wrote.
Sam Roberts said Triple H had warned Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes about Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens is solely responsible for action from Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, thanks to the Piledriver that applied them to both superstars.
In the podcast NotSam WrestlingSam Roberts recalled a segment that was issued in SmackDown where Triple H warned Orton about Owens. He said:
“It also goes back to Randy Orton saying: 'I want … I want a fight with Kevin Owens', and triple H saying: 'no', and Randy saying: 'Stop trying Kevin Owens', and triple H saying: 'I'm not trying to protect Kevin Owens; I'm trying to protect you.' Months … Everything counts, all these things: everything has been a little drawn.
Owens was unsuccessful to win WWE's undisputed championship against Rhodes in Saturday Night's Main Event. After the fight, he attacked The American Nightmare and left him out of action.
He and Orton were scheduled for individual fight at Crown Jewel. However, the fight never happened, since both men fought throughout the sand.
