Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day surprised the WWE universe when they expelled Big e from the faction. Today, the former world champion spoke about the sudden change to Heel and explained his actions.
The New Day remained a strong unit, dominating individual divisions and in pairs in all brands for most of a decade. However, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods decided to return to their roots, but without big e, since they turned against him in the celebration of his tenth anniversary in RAW last week.
In an interview in Battleground Podcastthe former champion in pairs on multiple occasions spoke about the change of side to Heel de Monday Night Raw. Kingston declared that he and Woods told the truth and that people didn't want to listen to it. In addition, the audience should be angry with and not to appear before.
“Bad? It seems to me a hard word, man. The question is as follows: everything we said was true. We didn't say anything that was a lie. People did not want to hear it, you know? They were angry because we said it. But nothing came out of what came out of our mouths that were a lie. Everything was 100% honest. That is all that has always been. Former WWE star believes that The New Day will meet Big e
It is difficult to imagine The New Day at WWE without a member of the faction. However, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods gave life to the dreaded vision when confronting Big e in a shocking way and, surprisingly, staying strong together as a duo.
In statements a Rebooked WrestlingMatthew Rehwoldt (formerly Aiden English) believes that the story could lead to the trio gathering in the main roster of the WWE in the coming months. The former WWE superstar does not believe that the 38 -year -old fighter will be a babyface that hits his former companions, but would use “the power of positivity.”
“I think a phrase from Big e 'do not dare to be bitter' months later, when they are in trouble. (…) I think that will make their hearts move away from the stone and melt the ice that surrounds them. I think the power of positivity, their love is so strong, will conquer them with love. It will not be the babyface that will hit them,” he said.
