Former advisor Koldo García has already entered the Supreme Court, where he is summoned to testify following the latest report from the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard. That police document indicates him as the “manager and custodian” of the “opaque” funds that he himself and the former Minister of Transportation, José Luis Ábalos, would have received from the alleged bribes in exchange for public awards.
Koldo García entered the courthouse around 9:45 a.m. accompanied by his lawyer. His summons comes after Ábalos took advantage of his right not to testify this Wednesday. It will be the fourth time that the former advisor appears in the Supreme Court after Judge Leopoldo Puente opened the case after the involvement of the former minister.
