Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are scheduled to defend their WWE women's championship in Wrestlemania 41. WWE analyst Sam Roberts has now predicted to his challenges.
The members of The Judgment Day have held the female titles of couples since February. Now they are ready to put the championship at stake in the show show this year against the winners of a Gauntlet Match that is scheduled for this Friday in SmackDown. Six teams will compete for the opportunity for the title in the blue brand: Natalya & Maxxine Dupri, Piper Niven & Alba Fyre, Michin & B-Fab, Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter, and Bayley & the Women's Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria.
Speaking in his Podcast Notsam Wrestling, Roberts predicted that Valkyria and Bayley would win the Gauuntlet Match and challenge Morgan and Rodriguez at the Showcase of the Immortals:
“I feel that Lyra Valkyria and Bayley will probably be. I think what you are seeing is Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley for the Women's Couples Championship. I think, you know, what is an interesting one. You know, I don't think that is what people saw for Liv Morgan at the beginning of this year. But who knows the circumstances that took us there? ” Roberts said. (1:11:24 – 1:11:47)
Liv Morgan talked about the next Gauuntlet Match in Wwe Raw
Last night in Raw, Jackie Redmond interviewed the WWE WWE LIV Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez couples champions to ask them about the next Gauntlet Match to determine the number one contenders for their title.
The former women's world champion launched a great attack on all the teams that will compete in the Gauuntlet Match. He affirmed that everyone is great, but not as great as she and her partner, declaring that they are the best women's champions of couples of all time. Morgan also promised to leave Wrestlemania 41 with the title.
It will be interesting to see if Morgan and Rodriguez fulfill their promise and leave Las Vegas as champions.
