The Province of León faces this Wednesday a critical day of forest fires, with a total of twelve assets, numerous very serious from the environmental point of view and others, such as the one that jumped from Zamora to the southwest of León, molelling of the Carballed-Castrocalbón, with a balance even traffic, having added yesterday a dead and about 10 wounded, several of them serious and almost all of them. The Zamorano-Leon sinister, whose origin is still investigated, began on August 10 and maintains a broad front that has required an extraordinary deployment of terrestrial and aerial media, as well as the intervention of the Emergency Military Unit (UME), Civil Guard to evict a total of 25 villages in the Leon and eleven province in Zamora, Firefighters Units, Civil Protection or Cross. The latter has enabled wide shelters in Astorga, La Bañeza and also ponferrada to welcome those who have had to leave their homes.
