Liv Morgan could be the center of WWE's female division at this time, but not even she is immune to uncomfortable encounters with fans. And apparently, a viral moment led to too much attention for the reasons misleading.
Last March, the portrait “Liva Lisa” monopolized headlines before the March 21 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The work of art inspired by Mona Lisa with LIV's face had fans literally worshiping her outside the sand. The clip went viral, and Liv herself even joked about wanting to hang it in the Louvre. But now, he has revealed that the man behind the portrait came too close to his comfort while he was abroad.
Appearing in the podcast UntriggeredLiv told the full story.
“Well, nobody would dare to approach me when I am with Dominik,” he began, making it clear that Dominik Mysterio's presence usually keeps things under control. “The only time I was not with him, we were in Italy, and someone made a portrait of the Mona Lisa, but it was me instead of the Mona Lisa. It was the smooth liva. It was much better, as, much more attractive.”
Then came the part that fans didn't know.
“The guy who helped do it, put his hand on me,” said Liv. “And I was like, 'No, no, no, no, no. Daddy dom.'” He made it clear that, although the guy thought he was only being friendly, he crossed the line. “And he put everything nervous and removed it. So when he is not close, I defend myself alone.”
Morgan did not say if WWE's security intervened or how far the situation came, but the message was high and clear: just because a fan creates something viral does not mean that it is allowed to ignore basic respect.
Liv managed the situation with grace, but the incident is another reminder that admiration does not give fans the right to get physical. Regardless of the scenario – anna or abroad – the limits are everything.
The portrait “Lisa Lisa” may have been hilarious, but this story adds a darker layer to the viral moment. And although Liv could have laughed at it, it is clear that he is not afraid to stop when things go too far.
