Question: How are you living this season?
Answer: Well, we started the season with Jairo and we were very excited to do it well. We were close, but the results were not given. And now he is going very well with the change with Javi. Everything is coming out, so we are very happy.

R: I think it was at the end of last year, when with Jairo we managed to win several games and take confidence. Suddenly we step forward and managed to make ourselves dangerous and fight most of the couples. Then I would say that it was at the end of last year was the one that made me take that leap.
Q: Without making a lot of noise, it is already touching the Top-16. Do you feel the ranking cover a bit? Do you feel that you are a bit undervalued?
R. I think my game style may not get much attention, but I feel that people value me. It is true that I have to demonstrate it and that the expectations that perhaps are put to a player who is in a lower ranking are not created around me. I keep training with illusion and that I have to give me.

Q: Maybe his partner, loyal. How are you managing all that passion and explosiveness you have?
R: With Javi what happens is that we have both many emotions, but he externalizes him more. I have to put a little more control, because if we get out of control, it is a disaster. Then, some have to put a little calm and tranquility to win the games.

R: Yes, of course. Jairo is calmer than Javi, which is pure dynamite.

R: Well, at first it was difficult for me. It hit me a little. But well, Jairo makes that decision and I from the first minute with great enthusiasm and very happy to play with Javi.
Q: So it was Jairo who made the decision. How did he take it?
R: It struck me. Maybe we were not playing at all well, but we were always close and felt that at some point we were going to fall. He makes the decision to close the project and make a new one with Edu, so I already decide to play with Javi and move on.

Q: It is very close to that Top-16 so valuable. What is missing to get to that step and even fight for more?
R: I think improve a bit in all aspects. I still have to mature as a player and the best to be a little more offensive. I think the shots go around.

R: My idea is to greatly improve that offensive part. Especially with the vipers, volley and auction. Little by little I am trying.

R: At the beginning of the season, for example, Jairo and I intended to fight the final master. But it is true that once we separated, I raised it differently with Javi. Our idea was to progress both and improve. Train together, make a long -term couple and that the results give little by little. Yes, it is true that they are giving us quickly, so we are going to fight for everything and, why not, try to enter the final master.
Q: Does Javi Leal look a lot of time?
R: That is my intention, really. I have a lot of faith in both of us and I think we can do it very well. Everything has happened very fast, but we talked to the coaches that nothing happened if the results did not arrive at the beginning, that we had to be calm, that we both played well and that together we did well.
Q: But getting so many things, calls from greater ranking players may arrive. Have they talked about what would happen if that situation was given?
R: No, we have not spoken. Javi and I are friends, so we have the confidence of being able to tell us things clearly. I think that, unless unreasonable that everyone can know what they are, we are happy with each other. We are not going to go crazy for someone who may not change our lives.

Q: Another with whom he has a great relationship is Pablo Cardona. First it seems complicated, but have they ever talked about playing together?
R: We have spoken it several times. It is not easy. One of the two has to change side and I think it would be me. Life gives many laps and never say. If it occurs, then happy.
Q: Is it easier or more difficult to face someone so close?
R: It is more difficult. Especially the day before or the hours before, because we are used to doing it almost everything together and spending a lot of time together. But at the moment of truth we are professionals and once we enter the track we know how to differentiate.
Q: As for the semifinals of Rome, in an entire major, in the Italic forum, against the number one … How did you live all that?
R: Well, the moments before the game was nervous, but we had spent several hours on the track, so once inside we nerves and I think we did it quite well.
Q: Finally, what dream would you like to fulfill in the paddle?
R: I am going to tell you two: I want to be number one and world champion with the selection.
