The world champions in TNA couples, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy, recently returned to WWE in NXT. Seeing the Hardy Boyz back in the headquarters in Stamford added a great nostalgic value, but it seems that Matt also explored some talents in the development brand.
On February 25, Matt and Jeff Hardy returned to NXT and competed in a fight against Tavion Heights and Myles Borne del No Quarter Catch Crew. Although the meeting was won by the stars of TNA, Heights and Borne left a lasting impression in the Hardy Boyz.
During a recent podcast episode The Extreme Life of Matt HardyHe praised Borne and Heights widely. Hardy was quick to highlight the 25 -year -old, with a special mention to his hearing impairment in a positive way, and also pointed out that he was a “special athlete.”
“Someone whom I want to highlight is Myles Borne too. The fact that it is completely deaf and still so talented and liberating, you know, you cannot hear but follow the rhythm without missing anything. It is simply incredible. It is really an incredible story, a special athlete and a great guy,” Hardy said.
Later, Matt Hardy also spoke very well of Heights and mentioned that both NXT superstars had what they needed to be great in professional wrestling, and expressed their hope that they would receive the appropriate opportunities.
“Tavion, too. You can't stop mentioning how a mega athlete is, like an intimidating athlete. He is a very real guy too, you know, with everything he has done, but he is so talented and athletic in the ring, man. He struggled to the fullest and was bouncing everywhere. They are two incredible boys and they will be – if they get the right opportunities – both will be really great in the wrestling of professional stars.
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy will return to WWE
When Jeff and Matt Hardy return to WWE in the February 25 edition of NXT, they brought memories to many wrestling fans. Although this appearance of the Hardy Boyz was historic by itself, they are also ready to make history this week.
On March 11, wrestling veterans are scheduled to return to the WWE Roadblock event. In this event, Matt and Jeff Hardy will defend their world championship in TNA couples against current champions in NXT, Nathan Frazer and Axiom couples.
This fight has a historical value because it is the first time that a TNA title will be defended in a WWE ring. It will be interesting to see if the Hardy Boyz can stand firm against the best of NXT.
