Today, October 29, marks one year since the tragedy occurred in Valencia. The effects of the dana did not remain only on this earth and the magnitude reached everywhere. This is how we could see it with the large number of volunteers who went to the towns to offer their help and, some time later, with messages on national television programs. This is what happened in the hours before the state funeral in programs like Operation Triumph on the Primer Vídeo platform and on YouTube and in “No Somos Nadie”, the new Sálvame on Ten.
This Wednesday, the director of the best-known television academy, Noemí Galera, took advantage of the group rehearsal where all the contestants and Manu Guix were gathered to give a message in memory of the victims of the damage of last October 29. Throughout the day, several participants have had gestures y actos in honor of the victims and their families; Two of the participants still in the academy are from the Valencian Community: Lucía from Paterna and Claudia from Elche.
A few hours before, when he woke up, The contestants themselves have proposed holding a minute of silence throughout the day and give a round of applause in memory of all the people who managed to save their lives and all the volunteers who helped in the days after the dana of 29-O. During breakfast, the participants – between 19 and 27 years old – have been debating what was the best way to remember the victims and all the Valencians affected
“Mazón resignation, it is the only thing that good people ask for”
With everyone gathered, Noemí Galera has remembered that in the planning diary was included a reminder of the dana anniversary and has asked the contestants “Dedicate the day to the victims and their families“. He has also taken the opportunity to leave a strong message asking for political responsibility.”There are very incompetent politiciansMazón resignation, is the only thing we ask good people“.
The director has made it clear that she was speaking in his own name and not in that of the organization of the program, although he has used it as a speaker. In her short speech she was affected, stating that “it is a terrible day, there is still a lot of suffering.” As he explained, he has many friends in the Valencian Community, who were affected by the catastrophe.
Belén Esteban: “Let's see if he has the balls to look the victims in the face”
On the other hand, Belen Esteban took advantage of a broadcast on Mediaset as a talk show host to refer also to the political management of the catastrophe. During the program No Somos Nadie yesterday, October 28, Belén Esteban was very hard with politics and did not hesitate to point out. “Is shameful that Mr. Mazón is going to appear”, referring to the State funeral in tribute to the victims. He also targeted the Popular Party, ensuring that “the problem is that the PP has not already fired him.”
Numerous reactions are being experienced beyond the borders Valencians in a few days full of feeling. The emotion for the memory of those affected along with the crispation current in society are marking dates that will be marked forever in the calendars of Valencia.
