The wrestling legend Booker T puts his boots once more, since he will face Zilla Fatu in the Reality of Wrestling breakout event on January 11.
The confrontation broke out during the Row Breakout event on December 29, where Fatu caught attention to his former mentor and accused Booker T of becoming an enemy. The verbal exchange intensified quickly and Booker accepted the challenge and sealed the treatment for the expected confrontation.
This marks the return of Booker T to Ring for the first time since its appearance at the Royal Rumble Male in the Rumble 2023 of the WWE.
His last traditional fight was in July 2022 at the Row Summer of Champions VIII event. Despite his sporadic appearances in the ring, Booker has remained active in the wrestling world as WWE NXT commentator, while continuing to advise emerging talents through his Row promotion.
Meanwhile, Fatu has been talking on the independent scene, competing for promotions such as Hog, Row and Limitless.
Earlier this year, Fatu and Booker reconciled, and the member of the Hall of Fame even said he wanted to help Fatu arrive at the WWE, since he has no interest in AEW. However, things seem to have taken a turn, which led to this personal confrontation.
With the legendary status of Booker T and the ascending stellar power of Fatu, this fight promises to be a special moment for both competitors.
