A WWE legend has left its retirement after almost two years to defeat an outstanding member of the Anoaʻi family and cousin of Roman Reigns. Booker T put his boots to beat Zilla Fatu in his local reality of Wrestling.
The last time Booker T fought in an individual fight was in 2019. Since then, he has participated in a few meetings of several men, being his last appearance in the ring during the Royal Rumble Male 2023. The NXT commentator made news by revealing that he would return to the quadrilateral for his first individual combat in six years against Zilla Fatu in reality of Wrestling.
The fight took place at the Battle To the Bell 2025 of Row, where Booker T achieved victory over the much younger Fatu.
The result surprised fans, since no one expected the WWE legend to defeat the young promise.
Trick Williams wants to face Booker T at WWE
A few weeks ago, in an interview, the NXT Trick Williams star expressed his desire to face Booker T in the possible final combat of the WWE legend. Williams mentioned that he deeply respects the NXT commentator and firmly believes that he is among the best that the quadrilateral has stepped on.
“It would be an honor (face Booker T),” said Williams. “As everyone knows, the respect and reverence that I have for Booker T are huge. It has even influenced some of my movements. Booker T, in my mind, it is definitely among the three to five best. Being able to share your last fight would be incredible. I hope to manifest it. We need that to happen. But Booker t teaching me? I'm going to say it: we saw Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.
Only time will say if Booker T, who is still in excellent physical condition, has the opportunity to return to the WWE ring for a possible farewell combat.
