Mick Foley shared an important health update today on social networks. The member of the Hall of Fame was going back to a Death Match on his 60th birthday later this year, but canceled the fight after suffering a brain shock last year.
Foley published an inspiring video on Instagram today, revealing his incredible success in his weight loss trip so far. The WWE veteran has lost almost 100 pounds since it weighed 377 pounds last year and seems to be in excellent form. You can watch your video in the publication below.
“Update of weight loss. A year ago, I started my weight loss trip with 377 pounds. It was difficult to walk … I had lost almost my strength … it was difficult to do anything. It was an infarction waiting to happen, and I knew I had to make a change … fortunately, a year later, I only have good news to share …,” he wrote.
Foley has not competed in a fight from the Royal Rumble of 2012, won by Sheamus.

The wrestling veteran JBL recently shared his thoughts on how WCW ruined the titular victory of Mick Foley at that time.
In an episode of his podcast, JBL shared his thoughts about Eric Bischoff's decision that WCW revealed that Foley was going to win the title in an engraved episode of WWE RAW. JBL commented that it probably would not have gone badly if any other person had been in addition to the hardcore legend.
