1. The birth of a passion (June 18, 1946) | Although its roots date back to the Municipal Sports Club, emerged in 1937 from a student initiative of the San Bartolomé College, it was on June 18, 1946 when the Los Millonarios Sports Club was officially established. The public deed was signed at school under the presidency of Alfonso Senior Quevedo (standing in the photo), who became the first leader, formalizing statutes and a sports society. Senior, visionary businessman, opted for professionalism and later founded the Dimayor, promoting the foundations of what would be Colombian professional football.
