Two weeks ago, it was learned that the things between the stars of AEW MJF and Britt Baker had been grated, with a recent incident behind the scenario that highlighted the tension between them. Although some details contradicted, the reports agreed that Baker was heard criticizing MJF's fight with Will Ospreay in AEW's female costume.
After being informed by his girlfriend, Alicia Atout, both MJF and Ospreay spoke with Baker separately, which led Baker to vulgarly criticize Atouunt, MJF to hit a wall in a sign of frustration and Baker to be fined and suspended.
Although Baker alluded to the controversy on social networks, MJF recognized him during an interview with “Cultaholic” over the weekend. And he did it by questioning some of the reports.
“Tell me if this passes the smell test,” MJF said. “I forcefully entered the costume of a woman. I shouted in the face of a 110 -pound woman and then physically threatening to punch a nearby wall … and do not suspend me. Does that happen the smell test for you? Almost everything that is written did not happen.”
MJF also accused the “English wrestling commentators” of exaggerating the story, although it seemed to admit that there was tension between him and Baker.
“I can sit here and say that wrestling is a very competitive sport,” MJF said. “It generates a level of insecurity like no other. However, I can easily put over any talent, regardless of whether or not I like it. Read that m#$ rda ”.
