Nelson Deossa is a new Real Betis player. The Colombian midfielder signed a contract until June 2030, after the Andalusian club closed its transfer for 14 million dollars plus two million in variables.

Deossa will arrive this Sunday in Seville to perform medical exams and complete the last formal steps before being officially announced.

The Colombian's rise has been meteoric: in just five years he went from playing in Atlético Huila to be transferred to Pachuca for a million dollars.

From there, it passed to Rayados de Monterrey for seven million, and now makes the leap to Europe as the reinforcement of Betis. His projection was consolidated in the last Club World Cup, in which he stood out representing the Mexican team.

With his arrival, the trident of Colombians who shone in the tournament is completed and now they make the leap to the old continent: Richard Ríos signed with Benfica (with which he was already champion), Jhon Arias with Wolverhampton and Deossa, now, will be Verdiblanco.

In Betis they hope that their ability to handle the midfield times and their physical deployment immediately fit into the style of play.
