It was from Auckland, in the “Cold War” event of Tamashii where the one -night tournament was held to crown the inaugural champions of Tamashii couples. The doubles participated were Young Blood, The Ungrateful 1s, The Pretty Boys and Sean Tohi and Finn Grant.
The semifinal faced the Pretty Boys against Tohi and Grant, with the fans' favorites, Pretty Richie and Magic Mark, taking advantage of their opportunity. The Pretty imposed themselves thanks to Grant's late incorporation, which allowed the islanders to advance to the final fight against Youngblood's winner against the Ungrateful 1s.
Faithful to the name of their team, the Ungrateful 1s did not seek to make friends when facing the most prominent graduates of the New Zealand, Osakr Leube and Yuto Nakashima. Nakashima's cruella Kick scored against Trent Hooper and the final was defined after 12 minutes of actions.
A demanding final was expected between the Pretty Boys and Youngblood, with both teams fighting about 17 minutes at the main event. Finally, Mulu beat Nakashima after a Pretty Sweep, an unexpected victory that delighted the followers of Tamashii, since the ethics of work and the struggle spirit of the Pretty Boys paid off with the gold in couples of Tamashii.
