Britt Baker could have been one of AEW's original stars, but it seems that he disagrees with the company, and possibly forever. According to Wade Keller of Pwtorch, Tony Khan is fed up with Baker's behavior and the costumes is not precisely asking for his return.

AEW's feminine former champion not fights since November 13, 2024, when he faced Penelope Ford in Dynamite. After that fight, Serena Deb confronted her, but Baker fell importance and said repeatedly: “Nobody cares.” It is possible that this moment has been more real than people believed.

According to Keller, Baker has earned the reputation of being a fighter with whom it is difficult to work, and AEW managers have already surpassed it. “It may not be in AEW,” Keller revealed. “At least, the feeling I have when talking to AEW people is that Tony Khan could put it in the same category as other fighters who simply do not receive phone calls or are summoned to present themselves.”

Baker's reputation behind the scenes has been a discussion issue for years, but it seems that things have worsened.

“There is a lot of frustration with her,” Keller continued. “They have told me, and I have listened to it quite constantly, that it is tremendously unpopular in the female costume. A person said that nobody wants to see her return, speaking of the female costume back.

Keller also confirmed that, although Baker's incident with MJF (which has not been completely detailed) played a role in his current situation, was not the only reason why they took her out of television.

“There was an incident between her and MJF, and they told me that it influenced her television departure, but other problems with her have emerged. It has become increasingly difficult to work with her in a general sense. He has always been reputable to be difficult to work with her.”

Apparently, AEW had a breakdown.

“There was a specific situation recently, without counting the situation of MJF, where people simply gave up … it was not a big problem, but it was enough to be the drop that filled the glass in terms of feeling, 'Do you know what? Now we have a strong feminine division compared to when she was at the top, and we do not need to deal with her if she is going to be so difficult to work with her.”

Despite the rumors, Keller made it clear that Adam Cole, who is no longer in a romantic relationship with the fighter, has nothing to do with Baker's absence. “They told me that Adam Cole's situation does not stop it. There should be no pressure on Adam Cole, he has nothing to do with her not on television.”

Baker has not approached rumors directly, but in December he mentioned on the YouTube channel of Diamond Dallas Page that was busy “filming some fun things.” Those “fun things” could be their only performance for a while because, according to Keller, “at this point to ask there, you should not expect to see her back imminently.”

Britt Baker has had tensions with other AEW talents

In September 2024, Britt Baker was reported had had a problem with Mercedes Mone, which added another layer to his drama behind the stage. The sources at that time affirmed that one of the most notable tensions behind the stage involved Britt Baker, who had problems behind the scene, and Mercedes Mone was a great source of frustration.

Britt Baker went from being the face of AEW's female division to be completely out of television and, if the backs are true, it is possible that it does not return soon. Whether it is a temporary pause or the beginning of the end, AEW seems to move on without it. If this is really the final chapter, the question is not only where it will go later, but if you want to return.
