The Bloodline saga is possibly one of the most convincing stories that WWE has ever told, and still continues to this day. However, a member of the original cast thought he would be fired by the company.
The WWE Jey fighter used to be part of one of the best teams of couples in WWE's history to become one of the most popular solo superstars in the world. Main Event Jey even exceeded 29 competitors to win the 2025 men's Royal Rumble, winning the opportunity to challenge for a world title in Wrestlemania 41.
In the podcast Club 520 With former NBA player Jeff Teague, Jey discussed his mentality when he entered his fifteenth year at WWE. The former intercontinental champion explained that there were times when he thought they would fire him, which motivated him to raise his game and face emerging talents.

The uses reached another level when they joined The Bloodline with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. The story made Jey use one of WWE's biggest stars.
A real member of The Bloodline did not know that Jey use would win the Royal Rumble
In his podcast Off The Topthe member of the Wwe Rikishi Hall of Fame revealed that Jey Use never told him that he would win the Rumble Rumble. He was surprised by the result, but he was happy for his son and throughout The Bloodline.
“I had no idea that this boy was going to be the one who would win the Royal Rumble. We have talked about it in previous podcasts, about the Yeet Man. (…) For us, as a family, that we have personally seen the fight, the hard work for which the boy has passed, thanks to the WWE, thanks to the WWE universe for believing in this boy,” Rikishi said.
Rikishi is Jey's father, Jimmy use and only Sikoa, while Roman Reigns and The Rock are his cousins. They are real members of The Bloodline of the Anoa'i family.
