In statements a RebookedMatthew Rehwoldt agreed with the idea of the presenter that Kevin Owens joined the new Bloodline as his fifth member in the Wargames fight against the faction led by Roman Reigns. In addition, he said that the former universal champion had many reasons to combine forces with the group of villains for a single night.
“It's a good point. It is a very good point. For a single night, I will have Sami (Zayn), who has betrayed me several times, Roman (Reigns) and Cody (Rhodes) there; yes, I want to hit him again. This is his chance to cause chaos,” said English. (From 32:15 to 32:40)

The original tribal chief had other plans, since it cost only Sikoa a possible victory for the title twice. This led Sikoa to form team with Jacob Fatu to face Reigns and Cody Rhodes in Bad Blood in Atlanta.
After losing against the duo, only Sikoa wanted to eliminate Roman Reigns and continued attacking him in Friday Night SmackDown. Sikoa finally got a fight in teams of six men against his cousin and his brothers, which his team won.
