
Danish Mads Pedersen (Lidl Trek) won the last stage of the Tour of Denmark, played this Saturday between Hobro and Silkeborg, 157.4 kilometers of travel, after which he won in the final general.
Pedersen, who invested a time of 3h 27:44, surpassed the French sprint Axel Zingle (Visma), the Swedish Jakob Soderqvist (Lidl Trek) and the Czech Matyas Kopecky (Novo Nordisk), and in the fifth place another partner who prepared the arrival, his compatriot Soren Kragh Andersen came in the Czech place.
In the final general, Pedersen surpassed at 1:28 to Soderqvist, at 1:30 to also Danish Niklas Larsen (Beton Bornholm) and at 1:50 to the Slovak Lukas Kubis (Unibet Musta Musta Rockets).
It is the third time that Pedersen wins his country's round, which he already got in 2017 and 2023.
