The dark angel was immediately positioned at the top of NXT by Shawn Michaels, who convinced her to choose WWE instead of AEW. Vaquer was crowned North American Women's Champion of NXT 217 days after his debut, and 25 days later, he took the NXT Women's Championship to Giulia. The first female champion of the Development Brand resigned its secondary title after 45 days to focus on the reign of the main title, but was surprisingly destroyed by Jacy Jayne in the NXT on Tuesday, ending his reign after 77 days.
Vaquer has been discussed for a promotion to the main roster for months, and the unexpected defeat on Tuesday fueled the rumors significantly. PWN Cory Hays now reports that the 32 -year -old star is expected to join Raw roster in the near future, but the blue brand is also scheduled to receive a great addition to the roster.
Jordynne Grace has also been subject to rumors of promotion, and there was talk that the five -time TNA champion could skip the main roster when he signed in January. This last report indicates that Grace is ascended to SmackDown.
The Juggernaut did not immediately join the main roster due to the Wrestlemania season. Hays said that Grace was never expected to be in NXT for a long time, but the officers did not want to place it in the main roster so close to Wrestlemania 41 without concrete plans or direction.
