The former WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman recently granted an explosive interview to the Podcast “Insight” The Chris Van Vliet where he gave his sincere opinion about his passage through the WWE, the current state of the company and, above all, his predictions on the retirement combat of John Cena. And if Coachman is right, wrestling fans will face an epic confrontation.

When talking about who Cena could face at his last fight, Coachman quickly appointed one of the best of all WWE: Randy Orton. He explained that Orton is the perfect candidate to close the legendary dinner career, considering the deep history between the two and their almost identical achievements in WWE. Coachman explained: “I think it will be Randy Orton. I really believe it.”

Coachman continued to highlight its parallel races and pointed out:

“When you look at the fact that both have basically the same number of world championships, Randy has gone from the child I met at the age of 19, where he is now. I am incredibly proud of what he has done and the maturity he has had.”

Coachman's perspective is based on his personal experience. Having traveled a lot with Cena and Orton, he has a unique vision of his careers and personalities. He highlighted dinner capacity to meticulously plan every aspect of his career, saying:

“Cena, I traveled with him for many, many months, and I know that if you look at him, whether two hours he was sitting with you, or the interview he has just done with Club Shay Shay, where I thought it was ridiculous for talking about Roman reigns as the best of all time, but that is what he believes and when he believes in something, that's what he will do. I think he has everything planned for the opponent of the opponent of Wrestlemania. ”

Coachman also believes that John Cena will win a WWE championship before retiring

But Coachman did not stop at predicting the last dinner opponent. He also said about the possibility that Cena gets a more championship before hanging his boots forever. In what could be a controversial opinion, Coachman believes that Cena could end Wrestlemania not only as a legend, but as a champion. “I think she wins in Wrestlemania”, Coachman said with confidence.

Coachman also speculated about possible motivations behind such a decision, even suggesting that WWE might want to ensure that Cena exceeds the world title record of Ric Flair. Coachman referred to the recent adventures of the legendary flair, pointing out:

“The way Ric Flair has moved in recent years, people love him. I have great affection for him. From time to time, he says, 'I'm going to retire. I'm going to retire. I'm going to retire.' Now he has, what?, Almost 80 years old and it's still out there selling marijuana and doing all these things.”

However, Coachman suggested that WWE might not want Flair's legacy to last forever.
