Currently, little active on social networks, Randy Orton recently sent a rare message on Instagram to Aalyh Gutiérrez, the daughter of Rey Mysterio. We have not known much of The Viper in recent weeks, since it has been absent from the WWE television.
Orton is currently in pause after being separated with a Kevin Owens piledriver in the SmackDown episode of November 8. He commented in Aalyh's birthday publication for his father, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Mysterio turned 50 on Wednesday, and many superstars sent him birthday congratulations.
Randy Orton's comment on Aalyh's Instagram publication confirmed how much he respects the masked legend. The world champion 14 times called Rey Mysterio a great friend:
“Your father is a real man and a great friend. Blessed to meet him,” said Randy Orton.
Mysterio and Orton have shared the ring on multiple occasions. The two WWE legends even faced Wrestlemania 22 in a triple threat fight that also involved Kurt Angle. Waiting for the return of The Viper to television, it remains to be seen if they will have another fight. It is likely to return on time for Royal Rumble.
Dominik Mysterio refused to wish Rey Mysterio's happy birthday
Although they are close to real life, Dominik Mysterio still hates his father in history. The two continue to throw indirects while apparently build towards a mask fight against hair that was proposed a while ago. That would be the definitive retirement fight for Rey Mysterio.
Dirty Dom was urged by the official X/Twitter account of USA Network to wish his “irresponsible father” a happy birthday. The two -words response of the Judgment Day member confirmed that there is no lost love among them. Look at the contrast between the two children of Rey Mysterio!
It remains to be seen when the father and son duo will face again in the ring. Dominik Mysterio still has to win an individual fight against the member of the WWE Hall of Fame, although he beat him in a Mixed Tag Team Match in a RAW episode in July 2024.
