Punk replied: “The bad news is that someone is me.” Unlike all the others who stabbed Rhodes in the back, Punk would win the rumble and stab him ahead. Rhodes had a story. When he appeared in OVW, he met Punk, and they were the only ones who wanted to learn to drag Greg Gagne's arms. Everyone wanted to be punk. They persecuted him. Punk was summoned and Rhodes followed him later. Rhodes pursued Punk. Everyone persecuted Punk. But that dynamic changed because Punk now pursued him. Rhodes wanted Punk to win the rumble “because I want you to reach me.” Rhodes wanted to see the expression on punk's face when he realized that “the best in the world” was no longer the best in the world. Rhodes music rang and the show ended.
