WWE SmackDown began with a video recapitulating the events of Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME), highlighting Cody Rhodes 'victory over Kevin Owens and Owens' posterior attack with a Piledriver package.
Images of Bianca Belair and Naomi were shown, who were preparing for their starting combat in today's star fight, followed by Nia Jax, Candice Lera, Motor City Machine Guns (MCMG) and #DIY. Finally, only Sikoa and his version of The Bloodline made their entrance to the ring.
Segmento: The Bloodline
Only Sikoa took the microphone, demanding that SmackDown recognized him as Chief tribal. The crowd responded with boos and songs of “otc”. Sikoa confirmed that he accepted Roman Reigns's challenge for a fight of Tribal Combat on January 6 at Raw On Netflix. Sikoa promised to leave as the tribal chief and relegate Reigns to the “island of irrelevance.”
Drew McIntyre interrupted, remembering how Sikoa cost him the world title at Clash at The Castle. Although McIntyre admired that Sikoa had the courage to face Reigns, he also promised to finish his pending issue with him once he eliminated Reigns. Jimmy use appeared out of nowhere and attacked McIntyre with a crutch, leading them to fight among the public.
Meanwhile, the Knight, Apollo Crews and Andrade ran to the ring to face Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu, which led to a trios fight after the commercial pause.

A solid combat, although somewhat extensive, which culminated with Sikoa covering Crews after a spinning alone and a Samoan Spike. During combat, Shinsuke Nakamura intervened to attack the Knight, allowing The Bloodline to maintain control.
This meeting established Sikoa as a serious threat before his confrontation with Roman Reigns, although there were criticisms about how they handled the Knight, who lost impulse after his recent career as a champion.
Segment: Motor City Machine Guns
Byron Saxton interviewed Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin after racks. Shelley promised revenge against Johnny Gargano, while Sabin expressed his discontent for #Diy's actions. Although it seemed that Sabin would accompany Shelley to the ring, Shelley asked him to stay behind for his fight.

In a later interview, Green expressed his pride in having made history by winning the championship and joked about being a “success overnight.” Green mentioned his previous release from WWE and said he would go to Disney World to celebrate his victory.

The Grayson Waller Effect con Braun Strowman
The segment began with Grayson Waller presenting Braun Strowman, who made his entrance dressed as Santa Claus and distributing gifts to the public. Waller, accompanied by Austin Theory, suggested an alliance between Strowman and A-Town Down Under. Before Strowman could answer, Carmelo Hayes interrupted, demanding an immediate rematch against Strowman. This led to improvised fight after the commercial pause.
Carmelo Hayes defeated Braun Strowman for counting off the ring
A brief combat and without much development, designed to protect Stowman with a defeat for counting. Hayes used his speed and ingenuity to avoid Strowman's attacks, who was surprised outside the ring while the referee counted. After the fight, Hayes escaped through the crowd while Strowman was chasing him enraged.
Segmento Backstage: nia jax, candice lerae y tiffany stratton
Lerae warned Stratton not to interfere in his night fight. Stratton looked disappointed as he left, making it clear that his presence in the event could still cause problems.
Johnny Gargano defeated Alex Shelley
Gargano took advantage of the distraction to hold Shelley with a roll-up, pulling his pants to ensure victory.
Backstage Interview: Naomi & Bianca Belair
Naomi reaffirmed his commitment to Berair and promised to give everything to ensure the retention of female couples titles.
Naomi & Bianca Belair defeated Nia Jax & Candice Lerae to retain WWE female couples championships
Bianca and Naomi showed good chemistry as a team, while tensions between Lerae and Jax complicated the challengers strategy. Jax suffered a blow to the head that left her visibly bloody towards the end of the fight.
Tiffany Stratton appeared in ringside, but his intervention was neutralized by the referee. Naomi achieved victory after applying a Split-Legged Moonsault on Lerae.
