In Backstage, only Sikoa and Jacob Fatu attacked Apollo Crews when crossing at the entrance to the building. Subsequently, the music of Cody Rhodes sounded, marking the beginning of his segment.

Shinsuke Nakamura made his entrance, interrupted by the Knight, who demanded an immediate rematch. Andrade appeared, but was attacked by Tama Tonga. In a comic segment, Owens insisted that Cole interviewed him in his car, expressing his frustrations with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. He criticized Cody for his “betrayal” and pyrotechnics in his entries. Owens ended up throwing school in a humorous act.
