The Undertaker made sure to be present at the Ceremony of the Hall of Fame this year, since his wife Michelle McCool was induced in the event. However, it seems that the dead man faced health problems before the show, since it has now been revealed that he underwent cardiac surgery after Wrestlemania 41.
Speaking in the podcast Six Feet Under, Michelle McCool revealed that in the five weeks prior to the Hall of Fame and WrestleMania, he could not concentrate on anything but her husband, The Undertaker. It was a really difficult time for her. People kept asking him how the Hall of Fame was, and although he enjoyed being on stage, something much more serious was happening behind the scene.
“The five weeks before the Hall of Fame and then Wrestlemania … You know what I'm talking about. I couldn't focus on anything but my dear husband. It was about five difficult weeks. Everyone approached me saying, 'How was the Hall of Fame? How was this?' And I literally enjoyed it at the time I went on stage.
Michelle explained that The Undertaker had serious heart problems during that time. When people congratulated her and asked her how she was, she was on the verge of tears, not for nerves or speech, but because she was very scared by her husband.
They discovered the heart problem by chance, and it was very scary. The morning after they returned from Wrestlemania 41, they were already in the hospital at 6 in the morning for a small cardiac surgery.
“Do you want to talk about how I saved your life? I think it is important that people know it. When people approached me to congratulate me and ask me how I was, I was almost crying. From Wrestlemania, the next morning at 6 in the morning, we were in the hospital for a small cardiac surgery. “
The Undertaker confirmed that it was his heart and admitted that he was not even supposed to travel to Las Vegas at that time, saying,
“It was my heart … yes. So, there was this little secondary situation occurring. It was not even supposed to go to Las Vegas.”
Michelle McCool said the dead man should not go anywhere. He had asked him not to tell anyone, but she felt that it was not fair to her. Only two weeks before Wrestlemania, four nights had spent in the hospital. He couldn't think of anything else during that time, since his only concern was his health.
