King Mysterio's fight in Wrestlemania 41 against the great American could be in danger after an apparent injury to the WWE Hall of Fame for “Wwe SmackDown” on Friday.
Mysterio was teaming with his partner from Lwo, Dragon Lee, and Rey Fenix in a victory in a triple threat combat against American Made. A video of a fan published in X shows Mysterio being helped Backstage by Ringside officers after the fight.
In the video, you can see Mysterio being assisted by two officers who keep him raised from the ground. Mysterio seems to take a few steps at the beginning of the ramp, but quickly favors his right foot before the officers prevent him from walking with any of his legs.
It was Fenix who connected a couple of double knees on Julius Creed from the intermediate rope to achieve victory in combat, and it was not immediately clear where Mysterio was injured.
Mysterio's fight against the great American (Chad Gable disguised) was formalized for Wrestlemania last week in “WWE RAW” after Mysterio asked General Manager Adam Pearce a fight against the man who was mocking the wrestling.
So far, WWE has not provided an official update on the state of Mysterio.
