Resist closes season today with Riot: Season Finale 8
► Guillermo was right

- Triple W: Gin El Libertario (c) Championship defeated Kuro to retain the title. “Opener” very matched, until Kuro looked for the coast to coast, but Gin avoided it and applied a hammer. This was not enough, so then downloaded a Shining Wizard in the neck of the Frenchman and put it on flat backs. Although he did not show even half of his skills, the public was delighted with Kuro. It should be remembered that he is currently the main champion of the French scene, revealing status that the Spanish struggle has managed to strengthen today.
- Plan B (Iker Navarro and Junior Martínez) (with Lozano) defeated Carlos Vega and Carranza. Lozano intervened on numerous occasions, and while the repairi urged him to leave ringsideNavarro and Martínez endorsed two low blows to Vega and Carranza. “The foreman” was then covered by Martínez after being topped with a double knee of Navarro. In the ends, the rude were primed with Carranza and Vega, JB went on stage and forced the technicians to kiss their feet. As Riot General Manager said in Savage Saturday, Carranza and Vega will not be fired, but will be humiliated until people forget them.
- Tony Aeri defeated Sputnik. Aeri definitely hugged fascism carrying in his clothing the cross of San Andrés. Sputnik, meanwhile, went out to the ring accompanied by ISSI, Rentnte and Chakao, his companions of the fighting union. I would say that the best individual performance I have seen from Aeri, who managed to impose itself cleanly through its DDT Cradle and the Tres account. For a moment, Aeri put aside his character and hugged Sputnik. This, accompanied by the entire fighting union, then thanked the public for his 10 years as a fighter, without major dramas. I had no knowledge about Sputnik's situation and left me very out of place such a result, because in theory he will no longer compete in Resist as a result of his dismissal (within the “Kayfabe”). There is one of the funniest fighters that the Spanish scene has had.
- Manager against Mascara: Guillermo (with Don Andrés) defeated Insane (with Barracuda). Good duel, although in the last stages he accused an apparent injury of INSANE in his left leg. With three rations of his alchemy, Guillermo was able to keep Don Andrés. Insane had to take off the mask, without necessity, yes, to reveal its real name as in the Mexican struggle. The four involved hugged each other among songs of “how beautiful”, leaving their differences temporarily aside. And the thing did not end there, because Don Andrés gave Guillermo a ring to ask them to be best friends forever. “The humble,” of course, said yes. After all this, there was intermediate in the show because with so many emotions together a break had to be taken.
- Championships by resist couples: Law & Order (lighter and bull) (c) (with mortar) defeated the lovers (ISSI and RENT) to retain the titles. Lybero had a visit to the chiropractic courtesy of Rentnte, who along with his partner ISSI proved to be a better team. In fact, Toro, who needed more training before carrying any medals, gave two consecutive scares, when he failed to execute a top with a turn and then when doing the same in a 450. But the champions prolonged their reign after a combination of PowerBomb + Zig Zag and the account of three above ISSI.
- RIOT Condal Championship, Triple Threat: César Bravo (c) defeated Ángel Reyes and Pedrolo to retain the title. Reyes went on stage accompanied by Ley & Order, his new “family.” There was an alliance between Reyes and Pedrolo, but he had little travel. As usual, Reyes was the one who shone the most and the most started the applause of the respectable, and although now he is a good boy, he continues to retain some ridiculous tics that keep his spark alive. Notable encounter, although when it began to really get interesting, and when Reyes seemed to have Pedroolo against the ropes, Bravo surprised his former nephew rolling him on his back for the account of three. Intelligent “Bookeo” because in this way the status of Kings and Pedrolo was protected. As a sign of recognition, Pedrolo raised the arm of kings.
- Riot Absolute Championship, Deathmatch: TJ Charles (c) defeated Santiago Sangriento (with Gin el Libertaria) to retain the title. Dark Kevin said goodbye here from the arbitration and did so being part of a piece of history of the Spanish struggle that perhaps would not impress a follower of the extreme and could not prevent him from looked at a time as a counterreloj career for accumulating all possible “spots”. In any case, very meritorious in terms of production and commitment of all parts, where there was almost nothing left: headset, pizza cutters, thorn wire covered tables, elbows covered with thorn wire, bates covered with thorn wire … In short, much bargain wire. But also clogs, flanges, screwdrivers (Santiago took a tooth to Charles), trays with cutting holders … Santiago ended up succumbing to the account of three after Charles stamped his head against a pack of fluorescent tubes, a weapon that marked the battle. Santiago Blood will not be the best fighter if we talk about technique, but here he showed why only he and Charles, the craziest in the place, could combine this “First Time Ever.”
- In the epilogue, to everyone's surprise, Gin attacked Santiago with the complicity of Charles and both posed proud with their respective belts. Before leaving the stage, Charles said to the camera that what happened was only the beginning. Interesting outcome because it ends up demonstrating that Guillermo was right.
- Traditionally, Season Finale, beyond the “In-Ring” component, is a scenario of very relevant events that grant the next season. And Season Finale 8 had them to Mansalva: the fall of Carlos Vega and Carranza, the continuity of the couple Guillermo & Don Andrés, the retirement of Sputnik and TJ Charles and Gin the libertarian in “Heel” mode. The only “lazy” point of the poster, a priori, seemed to me the presence of Santiago Blood as a star, but his plausible performance in a fight never seen in Spain and that aforementioned dramatic catalyst silenced my mouth. Few shows in 25 more complete has presented a promoter of the country, year after year resist sharpens her praxis when combining season finals, and she has reached her zenith (for now). 9/10.
