In an interview with Vanity FairRoman Reigns said he supports President Donald Trump, although he is not a fan of everything Trump does. He pointed out that he is registered as a Democrat, but is considered centrist. Here some outstanding points:
About the last presidential election being very clear: “A person was giving us information. A person was answering questions, so it wasn't so difficult.”
About support Trump: “Support to our president. Trump is one of those guys who has a vast history and a huge background. He has been in entertainment. He has been in large businesses, in politics. At this point, I am supporting a brilliant future for our country. A positive and competent leadership. So that we are supposed to be: a world leader and carry that respect and do what a world power as we should be doing.
About agreeing with everything Trump does: “It's as if you need that adversary. You need that opposition to bounce. You need that competitive motivation or something like that. To be honest, the world seems to be more like wrestling than any other form of entertainment.”
