The former WWE manager, Dutch Mantell, recently spoke about the participation of Roman Reigns in the SmackDown closing segment. The program ended with an angle in which the star sitting in the dressing rooms appeared.
After a beating at the hands of The Bloodline, a bruised and mistreated Roman tried to call Paul Heyman on the phone behind. However, the number was not available and the original tribal chief could not communicate with Heyman.
This week, in Smack TalkMantell explained that it was an excellent way to finish the program. He pointed out that fans would stay thinking about how Roman Reigns would talk to his Wiseman. The former WWE manager joked saying that he could even call Paul himself just to verify if, in fact, he disconnected his number.
“It was a great end. It really was. He leaves you, I'm glad they had this after the star event because he ended with a high note. Now you have something to wait. Wait a minute, did you cut their number? Where are you? Now people are thinking about that. I was thinking about it. I could even call Paul tonight to see if he is there.” (1:09:10 onwards)
With Survivor Series around the corner, Roman Reigns and his team lack a man for the Wargames meeting. We will see if the “Wise Man” is the key piece to help solve that position.
