Roman Reigns has not been seen in more than a week, and it seems that his role as The Tribal Chief could have come to an end in WWE. The former world champion did not achieve the victory in the Triple Threat Combat in Wrestlemania 41, and now it seems that his rival Seth Rollins will receive the impulse of Paul Heyman in WWE RAW.
Wrestling veterans Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff recently announced plans to begin their own wrestling promotion without script in 2025, and although the announcement did not have the expected reception, they could receive the support of WWE.
If WWE reached an agreement with this new company, similar to the one with TNA, someone like Roman Reigns could go to the promotion and work with a new character. The veteran could highlight some emerging stars before deciding to retire from the ring.
Reigns has pointed out several times in the last years that he is approaching at the end of his career, and now he could choose to work for one of the companies affiliated with WWE, with the saga of The Bloodline apparently completed.
Hulk Hogan is one of the most hated men in wrestling today, but seems to be working to change that perception, and WWE's support for his new proposed company would definitely help.
Roman Reigns could be looking to change things in the coming years
Roman Reigns already has a much lighter workload in WWE today compared to the past. However, it could have an even better schedule with this new promotion and could help boost it forward.
This would not be the same as a competition for WWE, which could allow many stars that are being underutilized to be sent there in place.
WWE has a huge roster today, and when SmackDown returns to a two -hour format next month, many will run out of television. This new promotion could be the response to what the company based in Stamford was looking for.
