Sonya Deville recently talked about her problems with WWE's creative direction after her departure from the company. The veteran was the leader of Pure Fusion Collective at WWE RAW, but the company decided not to renew its contract last month.
Deville was invited in The Ariel Helwani Show This week and discussed his surprising departure from the promotion. The former champion in female couples admitted that there were creative struggles with her character and pointed out that he pays better when she has control.

You don't always have total control, so I think I'm one of those people who works best in the driver's seat. When I'm alone, I can drive the car and direct the ship, and I feel better like this,” Sonya Deville said.
He added that his creative direction was inconsistent, but tried to make the most of him during his time in WWE.
“It was very starting and stopping. I was never frustrated. I took things as they came and tried to reinvent myself and recreate, getting new clothes, new team, working on my character and trying to find a way to make something work, but sometimes, yes, when you have no total control, it is difficult,” he added.
Sonya Deville competed in Royal Rumble's female fight last month, but did not achieve victory. Charlotte Flair won the fight and will challenge Tiffany Stratton for WWE Women's Championship in Wrestlemania 41.
