The Spanish junior orientation team achieved a diploma In the Sprint test of the Junior World Championship (JWOC), which is held in Trent (Italy) since last week. Last Sunday, Athlete Alejandro Garrido achieved sixth place in the Sprint testguaranteeing the diploma. Spain thus rose to the podium of this test, crowned by the Norwegian Jonas Fenne Ingerd, who beat the Spanish for 43 seconds.

He Sprint is one of the modalities of foot orientationin which athletes face a very fast tour, with a winner time around 14 minutes. It is usually celebrated in urban land, for example, this evidence ran through the center of the Italian town of Levico Terme.

Alejandro Garrido also made history for Spain in the results in this competition. Garrido matched the second best male historical position for our country in the test, which belongs to the sixth post of Pablo Ferrando in 2022.
