Two AEW fighters who disappeared from the radar and a WWE excompetrator are among the five professional fighters announced for the restart of American Gladiators on Amazon Prime.

As reported Hollywood Reporter Aew Wardlow and Kamille, Wwe Rick Boogs, and Jessie Godderz and J-Rod of Ovw will be part of the 16 gladiators team who will soon have unique names such as the original cast.

Last month it had already been announced that The Miz de WWE will be the presenter. On Thursday it was revealed that the sports personality Chris Rose will be the main commentator, with the former Bet 106 & Park, Rocsi Diaz, as a field reporter.

It is still unknown when the filming of the restart and its early launch date will begin.

Wardlow, 37, has not fought from a fight in March 2024 against the then AEW world champion, Samoa Joe. It was previously reported that he was dealing with a knee injury and also withdrew from an independent combat scheduled for last April.

Kamille disappeared from AEW after he finished his union on the screen with Mercedes Mone. Her last fight was at Fright Night Dynamite last October, and both she and Tony Khan have kept silent about her absence after only six fighting in the promotion since last July.

Boogs was released by WWE in September 2023 and has not fought since then, while Godderz and J-Rod are regular of OVW, with J-Rod also working frequently in independent. Godderz is also a two -seasons of the reality show Big Brother.
