The Rock is synonymous with the entertainment industry. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had a career worthy of the Hall of Fame in WWE, becoming an important player during the era of the company's attitude.
After a successful career in WWE, Johnson undertook a trip to Hollywood, where he became a known name and one of the best paid actors in the industry. However, despite filming commitments, Rocky has assumed an important role in the headquarters in Stamford as The Final Boss.
During his more than 25 years in WWE, The Rock has betrayed his friends and fans several times. Here, we take a look at four of those instances.
#4. Dwayne Johnson Usurpó Faarooq in 1998 to take the leadership of The Nation of Domination
After a failed attempt like Rocky Maivia and an inappropriate injury, the great one became heel to join The Nation of Domination and began to refer to himself as The Rock.
The Nation of Domination was a villain stable composed of members of African -American descent, led by Faarooq. They generated a tremendous degree of rejection by the WWE universe.

#3. The Rock sold his soul to become “the corporate champion” in Survivor Series 1998
In the midst of all the chaos that surrounded the brothers of the destruction and contempt of Vince McMahon to Stone Cold Steve Austin, the WWE Championship was vacant for months, and a tournament of 14 men for Survivor Series 1998 was established.
The Rock and Mankind, close friends on screen with mutual respect, were the two finalists. Unfortunately for Mick Foley, Mr. McMahon repeated Montreal Screwjob when asking for the bell despite not having a submission victory.
Mr. McMahon had essentially given the WWE championship to Rocky, who had betrayed Mankind fans to become “the corporate champion.” Stone Cold Steve Austin, being the poster and antihero boy, returned to close The Corporation.

#2. Hollywood Rock was incredibly disrespectful with Hulk Hogan and the wwe universe
For 2003, The Rock career in WWE had begun to decline while his acting career reached new heights. However, he produced some of his best works such as Hollywood Rock.
The great one had shaved his head and adopted a new look. The negative reactions of the fans forced WWE to return him Heel, and in Rocky's classic style, he brought the best out of the situation.
His first great rivalry was against Hulk Hogan in a massive rematch of his combat icon vs. Icon in Wrestlemania X8. Hogan was harshly insulted by Bull Brahma, who had lost all respect for the legend. This attracted the anger of fans.

#1. The Final Boss made John Cena sell his soul
During his recent stage, The Final Boss developed a strong disgust by Cody Rhodes, who stole his place in the main event of Wrestlemania XL against Roman Reigns. However, Rocky was willing to leave the past behind by offering Rhodes the opportunity to sell his soul.
Keeping faithful to his real being, The American Nightmare lacked respect and rejected The Final Boss. Unfortunately for Rhodes, Hollywood's megaestrella had a astute plan.
John Cena, a perennial hero on his farewell tour, betrayed the WWE already Rhodes universe under the influence of The Final Boss. In elimination Chamber 2025, The Rock was the brain behind one of the most heartbreaking and surprising heel turns of the last decade.
The Brahma bull and the champion were long -standing rivals, and fans never thought that an alliance on the screen was possible, especially during the dinner farewell career.
