Fifty-six tennis players ranked from number 100 onwards will compete on the courts of a sports complex that this October celebrates its 50th anniversary of its inauguration. Twenty-four tennis players will arrive from the preliminary phase and 32 from the final. In addition, 16 doubles pairs.

Challenger tournaments make up the second echelon of professional tennis. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic initially participated in Challenger tournaments. The Italian Roberto Fognini was the winner in the 2024 edition after beating the Austrian Neumayer. It so happens that Fognini retired from professional tennis in the first round of the last Wimbledon tournament after being defeated by Carlos Alcaraz in five hard-fought sets.
