► Adam Page at G1 Climax
In 2018, before the birth of the company, He lived an adventure that transformed his career. Already at that time it was quite popular in independent wrestling; He had been the World Rah third champion with The Young Bucks.
An experience that was not in Ring of Honor or another promoter of the United States in its “comfort zone” but in Japan; Page was already a member of the Bullet Club. Then, He participated in the G1 Glimax:
“That was one of the first times that I felt that he was part of something historical, something with prestige. It was an honor to be part of something about what I remember reading as a child. This prestigious tournament. It was exhausting, it is hard because you are struggling in individual fighting that can last 15, 20, 30 minutes, and then a very long journey by bus, and perhaps the next day you have a fight in pairs. But then you return to individual fighting again, and expectations are so high, both from fans and oneself. The expectations are very high.
But, halfway, at least for me, I felt that, well, maybe I didn't have all the points, but I was enduring, I was doing well. So that gave me a lot of confidence … without having … I would not say that the “crutch” of being in the United States. I was in a place totally unknown to me. I didn't have visited Japan for a long time at that time. So being in a foreign place, surrounded by people who did not know very well, really out of my comfort zone, and yet to give up at least quite well, It was a great impulse of trust for me.”
