“I estimate that no one should be judged without a single rational indication of crime against it and, in conscience, I reiterate that I do not appreciate them in the behavior of the defendants.” This is expressed by the head of the Court of Instruction number 15 of Valencia in the order issued this Friday that denies the opening of oral trial against Mónica Oltra, former vice president of the Generalitat Valenciana during the Pacte del Botànic stage for the alleged cover -up of the sexual abuse of its ex -husband to a minor guardian.
The resolution denies the opening of oral trial against Oltra and against several of the components of its cabinet in the Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies and agrees the provisional dismissal of the cause.
All this despite the fact that the Fourth Section of the Provincial Court of Valencia forced June 20, 2024 to the investigating judge to reopen the case after the dismissal he had issued for lack of indications against the leader of Compromís.
The investigating judge, Vicente Ríos, “fully coincides” with the criteria of prosecutor Jaime Cussac, who on June 19 ruled out any indication against Mónica Oltra and assured that the facts “are not constitutive of any criminal offense.”
In addition, says the instructor in the car, “there is absolutely no indication that any of the defendants have carried out criminally relevant facts.”
