The general secretary of the Popular Party, Miguel Tellado, has demanded that the PSOE teach “as soon as possible” the “of the cash withdrawals” of Ferraz, the tickets presented by José Luis Ábalos to collect liquidations of expenses and that he clarifies “how many leaders have charged with that modus operandi”. The PSOE responded yesterday that this payment of expenses to its former secretary of Organization had its “vouchers”, which are “justified” and their audited accounts.

The popular leader has accused Pedro Sánchez of being the “leader” of the plot and has claimed that he must convene “immediately elections” after the UCO report that detected Ábalos expenses for 95,000 euros that do not correspond to declared income. “It is urgent that the PSOE give explanations and teach the safeguards of the bank's cash withdrawal or the existence of an accounting B will be accredited. Also teach the tickets that justify the expenses of the payments of Ábalos for liquidation of expenses,” Tellado has requested, and added that he has to explain “how many leaders have charged with that modus operandi and who.”

“It only remains to resign and convene elections,” he insisted, because “it is impossible” that Pedro Sánchez “did not know, consecrated and cover up.” However, he did not want to move forward if the PP will take more steps: “It makes no sense that we demand explanations and advance next steps without even listening to what the PSOE has to say.”

In the report of the UCO known on Friday, it points to the existence of possible deliveries of cash from the PSOE to Ábalos that would not coincide with the documentation that the party previously contributed to the judge. The PSOE has responded that the money delivered corresponds to the payment of the expenses that the former Secretary of Organization passed to the Party with “the supporters presented” and have insisted that they already recognized “with total transparency” those payments “via box and via transfer”. “All payments via Caja have their expense vouchers and are justified. PSOE accounts are approved by the Court of Accounts, including these payments, and audited externally,” they replicate from Ferraz.

What the UCO agents do in their investigation is to compare the amounts that the PSOE communicated that it had given Ábalos with images and conversations that appear in the cause, such as those exchanged between the ex -mast of Ábalos Koldo García and his partner, Patricia Uriz. This analysis “has allowed to establish in some cases a correlation between the messages that point to money deliveries and the liquidations of registered expenses”, but also “other cash payments that would have been made by the PSOE, without the documentary support or any information about this particular, emerge.

One of those cases that appear in the Document of the Civil Guard is the envelope addressed to Ábalos – and collected by Koldo – who mentioned Tellado this Saturday. According to the information communicated by the PSOE, it should contain 321.29 euros in cash that come from the box. But the photograph that comes out in the report shows, handwritten in the envelope, the figure of 826.73 euros. The PSOE states that “it contains 321 euros declared as payment to Ábalos for their expenses” and, in addition, “505 euros of expenses in maintenance of the PSOE organization that accompanied Ábalos in their displacements or party activities”, which would also be “noted and justified in audited accounting.” UCO researchers link that difference of 500 euros – “gossip”, in language used by Ábalos, Koldo and his ex -wife – with the money that Koldo García implies that he received a month “for the position he held.”
