The Prosecutor's Office has opposed the request of Judge Juan Carlos Peinado raised to the Supreme Court of investigating the Minister of Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes, Félix Bolaños, for alleged crimes of false testimony and embezzlement in the 'Begoña Gómez case'.
Legal sources consulted by Europa Press indicate that this is the position set by the TS prosecutor Fernando Prieto in the report elevated to the admission room, which must now decide whether the line marked by the Public Ministry is followed or, on the other hand, accesses the request for hairstyle.
The head of the Court of Instruction number 41 of Madrid directed a reasoned exhibition to the TS asking to investigate Bolaños by considering that he incurred these crimes for the hiring of Cristina Álvarez as an advisor of Gómez.
It based the crime of false testimony on the contradictions he appreciated between the statements as Witnesses of Bolaños and the person in charge of Personal of Moncloa, Raúl Díaz.
As for embezzlement, he reasoned that Bolaños was responsible for ensuring the public funds with which Álvarez was paid to attend Gomez not only in his facet as the president of the Government but also in his private activities.
