Logan Paul has been chasing Jey use since he won the World Heavyweight World Championship in Wrestlemania, and will challenge him for the title in Saturday Night's Main Event next weekend.
Before the fight, Gunther has already claimed a confrontation against the winner, since he believes that he is the legitimate owner of the title. That said, it seems that Gunther could face Jey use on June 9 if a recent survey is indicative.
Gunther shared the survey on his Instagram, where he asked who would give him the World Championship, and, curiously, 82 percent believe that hey will use, while only 18 percent think it will be Logan Paul.
It is not clear why Gunther has received a rematch, since he surrendered to use in Wrestlemania without any interference. WWE's automatic revenge clause was eliminated long ago, but it seems that there are several exceptions.
What does this mean for Logan Paul?
Logan Paul is one of WWE's most hated fighters today, and has lost fighting for world championships in the past without really affecting this. Paul is someone who can offer a great show when asked and takes the business seriously when necessary.
That said, he is not ready to be world champion, and if Gunther faced Paul, it would be a heel fight against Heel, which would be confusing, with many fans without knowing who to support.
It seems that Paul has been added to this story to balance the negativity that Jey use has recently faced, and it seems that all he has left is to be defeated by use in Saturday Night's Main Event.
