The Rock and Roman Reigns joined forces at WWE Wrestlemania XL in April 2024 in a winning effort against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. In an unprecedented turn, Reigns and Rhodes allied in October of that same year.
WWE Hall of Fame, Bully Ray, feels that the tribal chief could meet with Cody Rhodes in 2025 if John Cena dethrones the American nightmare. If that happened, Ray hopes to see either an individual revenge for the undisputed title of WWE OA Dinner and The Rock against them.
In Busted Open RadioBully Ray said John Cena winning WWE's undisputed title could affect Cody's impulse. Even so, Rhodes could recover if they continue their rivalry beyond the shows shows. The member of the Hall of Fame chose Summerslam 2025 as the ideal event for the combat of star teams.
“If Cena won, one of the fighting that I would love to see in the future would be The Rock and Cena against Roman and Cody,” said Bully. “That is a fight for Summerslam. And there could be implications in that fight.”
The Rock said he managed to plant the seeds for the future of his current WWE program in Bad Blood. Allegedly pointed out the end for Cody Rhodes. However, it could have been a subtle track of his betrayal to another man who was in the ring next to the American nightmare: Roman Reigns.

Although WWE fans rejected that The Rock and Roman Reigns face Wrestlemania XL, the fight is still a dream. The only reason the spectators were not excited last year was because the story of Cody Rhodes was affected with the return of the star of the Attitude era.
The tribal chief said WWE would always attend to his main audience: those who pay their money hard to see the shows. If those fans wanted to see him face The Rock, he said they would find a solution.
