WWE exmanager Jim Cornette recently spoke about the absence of The Rock in the company. The star has not appeared since the Premium elimination Chamber event.
The final boss orchestrated the Heel of John Cena in Elimination Chamber. He joined forces with dinner and rapper Travis Scott to end WWE's undisputed champion in the PLE. However, the Hollywood star has been absent from television recordings since then, without appearing in the preparation for Wrestlemania.
During a recent episode of Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru, The veteran explained that WWE probably wanted the approach to be at Cena and Cody, two of his biggest stars. He felt that this was a defining moment for both, one on the edge of the retirement and the other the current champion in the most profitable era of WWE. Cornette said The Rock should not enter and take the prominence to the main confrontation.
“The advertisers can be instructed about these things they must say. But the people who make the 25 -minute segments are the guy who is being withdrawn and the other that is at the top during their hottest period, and I do not think they want to talk a lot about it, neither of them. I think they are doing what they do to call attention to them and their fight, and not about people who could want to steal some attention. (13:10 – 13:38)
